J.D. Frandsen is the author of the underground novel—Like Lions Purring. He trains wild mustangs for the BLM at the Wyoming Honor Farm. He has published essays and short fiction in dozens of national publications and campus literary journals. His work has been featured in Doran Larson’s Inside Knowledge: INcarcerated People on the Failures of the AMerican Prison (NYU Press, 2024), The Corcoran Review, The Jackson Sun, and Earth FIrst Journal.
