Fiona Templeton is a poet, performance maker, and director of the New York group The Relationship. Her 1988 award-winning YOU-The City pioneered the genre of the theatre journey. She co-founded the Theatre of Mistakes in London in the 70s with Anthony Howell and Mickey Greenall. Recent performance work includes The Medead at Roulette Brooklyn, Governor’s Island, and Glasgow Tramway; L’Ile, commissioned for the opening of Lille European Cultural Capital; Bodies of Memory at Tate Britain; and The Blue at LaMama in New York. She also leads the Leslie Scalapino Award for Innovative Women Performance Writers, and has published 12 books. www.therelationship.org
