Denise Kripper is a bilingual literary translator, a translation scholar, and the translation editor at Latin American Literature Today. She is the author of Narratives of Mistranslation: Fictional Translators in Latin American Literature and the co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Latin American Literary Translation (both Routledge, 2023). Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she currently lives in Chicago where she is a founding member of the Third Coast Translators Collective.
