Cat Bohannon completed her PhD in 2022 at Columbia University, where she studied the evolution of narrative and cognition. Her work has appeared in Science, The Atlantic, The Guardian, Scientific American, The Best American Nonrequired Reading, Lapham’s Quarterly, and Poets Against the War. Eve is her first book and a New York Times bestseller, and was listed for the Royal Society Prize, the Orwell Prize, and the Women’s Prize in 2023. She lives in the U.S. with her partner and two offspring.
