b.a. medina (pronouns ze/hir/hirs) has been a leader within higher education for over 20 years. b.a. has worked in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Maryland, Ohio, and is now the Director of Bias Incident Support services at the University of Maryland, College Park. As an openly queer, genderqueer, and Latinx sexual assault survivor, ze advocates for marginalized communities to center those harmed by systemic oppression and trauma. b.a. completed hir master of business administration in 2009 and hir master of social work in 2025.
