Adam Feinstein is a writer, poet, translator and the acclaimed English-language biographer of the Nobel Prize-winning Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda. His 2004 book, Pablo Neruda: A Passion for Life, re-issued by Bloomsbury in an updated edition in 2013, was widely praised (Harold Pinter called it ‘a masterpiece’). His many other publications include a book of his translations from Neruda’s Canto General, with colour illustrations by the celebrated Brazilian artist, Ana Maria Pacheco. His own poems and translations have appeared in Agenda and Modern Poetry in Translation. He is also an autism researcher and the author of A History of Autism: Conversations with the Pioneers (Wiley-Blackwell, 2010).
