Join PEN America and WeHo Pride for a special partnered event, presented by Hank Henderson, Homo-Centric: BANNED Camp. With an opening by PEN America Los Angeles Managing Director Allison Lee, this event will feature selected readings by award-winning authors Francesca Lia Block (Baby BeBop) and Abdi Nazemain (Like A Love Story), from their banned works, as well as performed readings by author Steven Reigns, and artist/performer Jason Jenn. As numbers of banned LGBTQI+ books continue to rise, join us around the campfire, listen to banned books, and learn how you can join the fight against censorship.
