Please join PEN America Washington for our first literary salon and happy hour. This will be a time for us to celebrate the convening power of literature and culture to defend and cultivate democratic values. If you feel inclined, bring a poem, a short reading, a limerick, or haiku to share. We will welcome a few guests to share excerpts that inspire them during the evening. If you are interested, please indicate so in the RSVP form. We will provide hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will be available. Please feel free to bring colleagues who need inspiration.
