Ibtisam Mahdi

Ibtisam Mahdi is a journalist from the Gaza Strip and graduated from Al-Aqsa University with a degree in Journalism. She is the mother of two children, Mayar and Youssef. With nearly ten years of experience as a freelance journalist, her work focuses on social issues, with particular attention to the rights and conditions of women and children. She and her family miraculously survived the ongoing war, during which she produced multiple investigations and reports, as well as nearly 100 in-depth stories documenting the suffering of women amid genocide.
