Natalie Ortiz

Program Coordinator, Campus Free Speech

Natalie Ortiz is the program coordinator of campus free speech at PEN America. Prior, she served as the Exhibitions Coordinator at the New York Public Library, in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, where she curated and supported initiatives that expanded public access to the Library’s archives and special collections. She also served as Program Manager for Art in Odd Places, producing an annual public arts festival along 14th Street. Earlier in her career, Ortiz completed two AmeriCorps service years, working in arts and education settings to expand access to creative learning opportunities.

Ortiz holds a BA in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has attended artist residencies at Yaddo and the Chautauqua School of Art.
