Jonathan Scott is an incarcerated poet and songwriter from Richmond, Kentucky. In 2020, he was arrested and sentenced to 30 years in federal prison. Following a suicide attempt in 2023 and what he describes as an “encounter with the living God,” he refained the will to live and found inspiration in the unraveling of traumatic memory. Today, he has dedicated himself to mental health advocacy and the pursuit of personal redemption through the power of the written word.
