Amelia Prochaska (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based Training and Facilitation Specialist with Right to Be. With roots in sexual violence prevention, consent education, and survivor empowerment work, Amelia is determined to build towards a world that centers pleasure, humanity, and accountability. Most recently, she co-constructed consent, bystander intervention, and survivor support curriculum for Northwestern’s New Student Orientation, educating all 2,800 incoming students. She has conducted research in anti-racist pedagogy and trauma-informed, survivor-centered storytelling practices in partnership with Northwestern University, which have affirmed agency and individuality as cornerstones of her work. She has also worked in philanthropy consulting and reproductive justice education & lobbying with the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project, and firmly believes that we all deserve the fundamental right to choose when it comes to our bodies, our options, and our lives. She is also an actor, singer, dancer and intimacy coordinator who is always excited to weave her advocacy work together with her artistry. She is beyond excited to join the Right to Be team and to work alongside this incredible staff towards a humanity-filled world.
Amelia is an alum of Northwestern University’s School of Communication, where she studied Theatre, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and Performance & Activism.
