Joshua Daniel Peterson was put into foster care when he was five, and was shuffled from home to home, institution to group home, and back around again until he aged out of the system. He suffered all sorts of abuse, and made some poor decisions that landed him in prison. In prison, he has heard far too many people use trauma and poverty and other socioeconomic factors as a reason to continue to be terrible people. He hopes his writing will inspire people to take responsibility for their own fate, and realize the power in their thoughts.
