Author, journalist, and Russian opposition figure Dzyadko had to leave Russia shortly after Russian forces invaded Ukraine. After a year living in Georgia, he was denied re-entry and detained overnight on February 20, 2023. Dzyadko has attempted to enter Georgia again by land and was denied. The author of the dystopian novel Радио Мартын (Radio Martin) remains in Europe unable to join his family.
