The Segal Center welcomes South African playwright and cultural leader Mike van Graan for an evening of theatre and discussion, including excerpted readings from his prescient political thriller, Green Man Flashing (2004) and his drama about two victims of violence, Some Mothers’ Sons (2006). Van Graan’s playwriting career has spanned anti-apartheid community-based theatre to international commissions and mainstream productions. Van Graan is also as a leading advocate for African arts and culture, working in both the public and private sectors. Readings directed by Barbara Rubin.
