A graduate of Grambling State University, Jeffrey Young was a columnist writer for the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, worked as an editor for The Prison Mirror (the oldest prison newspaper in the country), and has been instructed in the craft of writing by some of the most talented instructors who are part of the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop.
