Jeanmarie Fenrich

Jeanmarie Fenrich is the Director of Special Projects at the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice at Fordham Law School. Fenrich previously acted as the Center’s Executive Director. From 2003 to 2006 she was the Secretary of the International Human Rights Committee for the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and she was previously a Visiting Assistant Professor at Fordham Law School. She has taught courses on specialized human rights topics, Civil Procedure, and the UN Security Council. Fenrich’s writing has been published in numerous publications, including Harvard Human Rights Journal, Fordham Law Review, and Fordham International Law Journal. She co-edited The Future of African Customary Law, Cambridge University Press (2011), with Tracy Higgins and Paolo Galizzi. She joined the PEN America Board in 2013.
