Erica Galluscio

Manager, Digital Production

Erica Galluscio is the digital production manager at PEN America. She is responsible for the daily upkeep of PEN America’s website as well as the production of PEN America’s weekly e-newsletters. She is highly accomplished in working with graphic designers and web developers to build intuitive and beautiful websites for arts institutions and nonprofits. In 2024 she project managed the rebuild of PEN America’s website, organizing thousands of pages and rethinking the information architecture of the site. She can frequently be seen on PEN America’s red carpets, interviewing authors, celebrities, and everyday readers.

She previously worked as Digital Communications and External Relations Coordinator at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, marrying her background in digital communications with her love for art and architecture. She also project managed a rebuild of the Cathedral’s website in 2021, focusing on user friendliness and modern branding.

She is an honors graduate from Hunter College, where she studied linguistics, gender studies, and art history before joining the Office of the Arts team as Communications Assistant. She is a cat person.

I personally think some superstitions are just tools to help people navigate the world and the questions they do not have answers to.
