In 2020, she was appointed a National Student Poet by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers. She has spoken at events for Oprah and former National Poet Laureates, been invited to the White House by First Lady Jill Biden, recognized by Vice President Kamala Harris, and made an appearance in an episode of the PBS series Poetry in America.
