Danial Faraji

Danial Faraji is a rapper known by the stage name Meshki. His music often involves political commentary. He has written lyrics supporting the Mahsa Amini protests and criticizing Iran’s June 2025 war with Israel. He was briefly arrested in April 2025 and was reported as missing for a period of time. He was rearrested in October for “publishing controversial works.” Authorities released a forced confession video of him where he apologized for “insulting the Supreme Leader.”
