Ariana Baldomero

Director, Human Resources

Ariana Baldomero is the director of human resources at PEN America. She brings 12+ years of experience in Human Resources and leadership in People Operations, building equitable people systems and strengthening organizational culture in mission-driven organizations. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Talent at COOP Careers, where she built and led the organization’s People function during a period of rapid growth, supporting a 300+-employee workforce across multiple states. Her experience includes talent strategy, performance management, HR systems, employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational operations.

Earlier in her career, Ariana held talent development roles at East Harlem Tutorial Program and worked in HR and operations at the British Consulate General in New York. Her leadership is deeply informed by her experiences growing up in the Bronx and her commitment to building workplaces where people feel supported, valued, and able to thrive.

Baldomero holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from The George Washington University and is an alumni of The Institute for Nonprofit Practice’s Core Certificate Program.
