Philippa H. Stewart

Philippa H. Stewart is a media consultant with the PEN/Barbey Freedom to Write Center. She is an experienced non-profit media and communications strategist, and in her previous life was a journalist for international and local newsrooms.

She has reported from Ukraine, Mongolia, Afghanistan, and the UK and has previously worked for Human Rights Watch, United Nations Human Rights, and Al Jazeera, among others. 

She has an M.A. in Human Rights from the University of London.
