Monica Rojas

Monica Rojas is a bilingual queer Chilean-American who engages communities through writing and artistic practices involving magical realism, joy, and play. She received a Mirrors and Windows Fellowship through the Loft Literary Center, has a picture book, Nana and Abuela, and a pending picture book publication, Patchwork Memories. She has created many interactive art installations and performances throughout Minnesota and has received a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota Arts Board. She lives with her wife, and two kiddos in Minneapolis, MN where she befriends local librarians, mends clothes, and stoop sits.
