Kathleen Sharp is an award-winning journalist, the author of five books and an enrolled member of The Cherokee Nation. Her work has been published by ProPublica, The Guardian, The New York Times Magazine, Smithsonian and many others. Her book Blood Medicine (Dutton) was an O Magazine top ten book pick and has been optioned for film. Mr. & Mrs. Hollywood (Blackstone) was the basis for the film documentary The Last Mogul (ThinkFilm). Sharp has won seven Sigma Delta Chi awards, including first place for investigative reporting, was a finalist for PEN Literary Journalism award, and a recipient of an Annenberg Grant.
