Yudai Kamisato

Yudai Kamisato was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Kawasaki-city, Japan. He is the founder and director of the Okazaki Art Theatre, and the youngest person ever to win the Toga Director’s Competition. Kamisato’s plays explore the problems faced by immigrants and workers, the tension between individual and national identities, and the lack of communication within contemporary society.
