Rafael Rojas, a Cuban historian and essayist living in Mexico, has written over twenty books on the cultural and political history of Latin America, Mexico, and Cuba. Winner of the Anagrama Essay Prize and the Isabel de Polanco Award, Rojas is a professor at CIDE, a Global Scholar at Princeton, an editorial board member of Letras Libres and Istor, and a contributor to El País.
