Kenan Trebincevic was born in the town of Brcko in 1980, and was exiled with his family during the Balkan War. Kenan’s work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Best American Travel Writing, and Salon. His debut memoir, The Bosnia List, is forthcoming. He lives in Astoria, Queens.
