Keah Sharma

Keah Sharma (she/her) is currently a student at the University of Toronto where she is working towards an Honors BA in political science, contemporary Asian studies, and literature and critical theory. Last year, she received a Laidlaw Foundation grant to pursue independent research on South Asian diasporic novels and poetry to highlight constructive models of motherhood and foster a more sensitive discourse surrounding immigrant women. In Toronto, Keah is the deputy managing editor for Victoria College’s satire paper, The Boundary, and acts as a compliance director at the G20 Research Group. She is looking forward to furthering her passion for free expression at PEN America this summer.
