Katrina Kiapos

Katrina Kiapos studied bookbinding and conservation at the North Bennet Street School in Boston. She currently lives and makes books in Brooklyn. Constantly in pursuit of refining her craft, Katrina has worked under the guidance of printmaker Russell Maret and bookbinders such as Judith Ivry and Gavin Dovey. Katrina has taught bookbinding at Ugly Duckling Presse, in Brooklyn, and co-teaches papermaking classes at Dieu Donné, in Midtown, where she also makes paper for her books. In 2013 she was a resident at the Women’s Studio Workshop, in upstate New York.
