Karan Mahajan

Karan Mahajan’s first novel “Family Planning” was published in nine countries, and was a finalist for the 2010 Dylan Thomas Prize. His criticism has appeared in The New York Times, NPR’s All Things Considered, and Bookforum, and he has received fellowships from Yaddo, the UCross Foundation, and the Camargo Foundation.

Born in 1984, he grew up in New Delhi, and lives in Fort Greene in Brooklyn. He is at work on his second book.
