Ju-Chan Fulton

Ju-Chan Fulton, with Bruce Fulton, is the translator of numerous volumes of modern women’s Korean fiction, Words of Farewell (1989), Wayfarer (1997). Most recently they translated the graphic novel Moss by Yoon Taeho, The Human Jungle by Cho Chŏngnae, and Sunset: A Ch’ae Manshik Reader, and Lost Souls: Stories by Hwang Sun-wŏn. Among their awards and fellowships is the first U.S. National Endowment for the Arts Translation Fellowship awarded for a Korean literary work. She is co-recipient of several translation awards and grants, including the first residency awarded by the Banff International Literary Translation Center.
