Jonas Hassen Khemiri was born in Sweden. He is the author of four novels and six plays, which have been performed by over 100 international companies. His work has been translated into more than fifteen languages and his awards include a Village Voice Obie Award, the Borås Tidning award, the Swedish Radio Award for best novel, and the August Prize.
