Joel Whitney

Joel Whitney is a poet, essayist, and reporter, and is an Editor in Chief of Guernica.

His nonfiction work has appeared in The New York Times, The New Republic, and The San Francisco Chronicle. His poems have been published by The Paris Review, The Nation, and Agni, and he was awarded a “Discovery”/The Nation Prize.

He lives in Brooklyn.
