Gado

Cartoonist Godfrey Mwampembwa (a.k.a Gado) was born in Dar es Salaam in 1969. In 1992, Gado became an editorial cartoonist and illustrator with Nation Media Group in Nairobi, Kenya. An award-winning political cartoonist, Gado is the author of several books, and is the creator and producer of a weekly social satirical puppet show, the XYZ Show, currently in its seventh season. He lives in Nairobi with his wife and two daughters.
