Ezequiel Zaidenwerg

Ezequiel Zaidenwerg was born in Buenos Aires in 1981. He has published the poetry collections Doxa (Vox, 2007) and La lírica está muerta (Vox, 2011). Sinsentidos comunes, an illustrated book of Spanish limericks, is due to appear this year, as is a bilingual version of La lírica está muerta/Lyric Poetry is Dead. He has also published collections of poems by Mark Strand and Ben Lerner, and he has books by Weldon Kees and Denise Levertov in press. Since 2005 he has been hosting zaidenwerg.com, where he translates two poems a week.
