Aashna Agarwal

Aashna Agarwal (she/her) is graduating this year with honors from NYU, after majoring in journalism and international relations and minoring in data science and Hindi. She has written for The Times of India, Washington Square News, and Lithium Magazine, covering culture and politics at the intersection of race and gender. She spent the last year investigating the New York City BDSM dungeon scene, with a focus on the lack of resources and training offered to sex workers in their places of work. She is a teaching fellow at Girls Health Ed and a NY State Top Teaching Fellow recipient for her work running 6-week-long comprehensive workshops on health, sexuality, body image, and healthy relationships at NYC public schools.
