As the United States begins to reopen diplomatic relations with Cuba, a more complex view of the island is becoming more available to Americans whose access to the island has been limited by the five decade embargo. This event offers a rare opportunity to hear leading intellectual historian Rafael Rojas and prize-winning film director Juan Carlos Cremata Malberti discuss the challenges facing public intellectuals in today’s Cuba.
