She is an award-winning Canadian writer, journalist, critic and broadcaster, the author of three non-fiction books, and Books Editor of MOR Magazine (Canada). Her work has appeared in Granta, The Walrus, the Globe and Mail and many other publications. She is a former President of PEN Canada and lives in Toronto, Canada.
