World Press Freedom Day: Dallas, TX

Are you worried about the state of journalism, especially at our local level? Are you missing diverse coverage that you consider important and relevant to your community or the larger society? Do you believe inclusive journalism is not just necessary to stay informed but also to promote civil society?

Last month, PEN America and Wild Detectives held their first journalism workshop to examine the impact of journalism in society and what can we do to make it better at a local level. In recognition of World Press Freedom Day, we’re thrilled to continue this conversation as we work toward building an inclusive local news ecosystem in Dallas.
