PEN America Winter 2018 Authors’ Evening with Tara Westover

This dinner will be hosted by Diane Archer and Stephen Presser at their Upper West Side home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 7:00 pm.

Tara Westover will discuss her first book Educated, an unforgettable memoir of triumph over seemingly endless adversity.

Tara Westover is an American author living in the UK. Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, she was seventeen before she first set foot in a classroom. She has since earned an MPhil from Trinity College, Cambridge in 2009, and in 2010 was a visiting fellow at Harvard University. She returned to Cambridge, where she was awarded a PhD in history in 2014.

Seating at this dinner will be limited and available by making a donation to PEN America.
