Tributo a un Bello Idioma

The Downtown Arts + Science Salon (DASS) in partnership with Mana Contemporary Miami and PEN America present the Literary Salon Tributo a un Bello Idioma. A vibrant celebration of the Spanish language in literature, this salon will feature four local writers reading their most recent works centered around the city of Miami. Featured presenters include Pedro Medina León, novelist, journalist, and publisher of Suburbano Ediciones; Isabel García Cintas, writer, journalist, and staff at Letra Urbana; Andrés Hernández, novelist, journalist, and editor at El Nuevo Herald; and Raúl Guerrero, novelist, essayist, and academic director at DASS. Each reading will be followed by a musical interpretation performed by the Gary Thomas Jazz Trio, an experimental ensemble featuring music professors from local universities. The event will be moderated by Telemundo/NBC Presenter, Carolina Novoa.
