Too Dangerous for Words: Life & Death Reporting the Mexican Drug Wars

Anabel Hernández is a Mexican investigative journalist, and author of Narcoland: The Mexican Drug Lords and Their Godfathers (Verso). She is also the recipient of the 2012 Golden Pen of Freedom awarded by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers. On Septemebr 26, she will be joined by Carlos Lauría (Committee to Protect Journalists), Guy Lawson (investigative journalist, Rolling Stone contributor) and Nik Steinberg (Human Rights Watch) for an evening of conversation.
