In partnership with The Mercantile Library and Harm Reduction Ohio, PEN Across America is excited to celebrate the virtual launch of This Is Ohio: The Overdose Crisis and the Front Lines of a New America by Jack Shuler on Wednesday, September 9 at 7pm ET. Dennis Cauchon, the president of Harm Reduction Ohio and former journalist, will join Shuler in conversation. Every overdose is a policy failure. Such is the guiding element of journalist Jack Shuler’s new book. This is Ohio explores the current addiction crisis as a human rights problem fostered by poverty and inadequate healthcare.
