Kirmen Uribe is a Basque poet, newspaper columnist, and author of children’s books, and has been a teacher, scriptwriter, and lyricist. His debut poetry collection, Bitartean heldu eskutik, was translated into English by American poet Elizabeth Macklin under the title Meanwhile Take My Hand. Nabeel Yasin, one of Iraq’s most celebrated poets, is best known for the epic poem Brother Yasin. Since 1990, he has lived in the United Kingdom.
