Nine journalists and writers have been murdered in Mexico this year, four of them women. As part of PEN&rsquo;s ongoing advocacy to protect writers and journalists in that country, on November 2, Mexico&rsquo;s D&iacute;a de los Muertos, PEN centers around the world carried out activities to remember the 35 journalists and writers who have been killed and the eight who have disappeared in the last five years.<br />
