Join us for an intimate evening with Mansi Choksi discussing The Newlyweds: Rearranging Marriage in Modern India. The Newlyweds, Mansi Choksi‘s literary investigation into India as a society in transition through the lens of forbidden love, is “a sharp and moving exploration of the relationships of three embattled couples; the writing is beautiful and the storytelling blindingly clear.” (Alexis Okeowo, New Yorker staff writer, and author of A Moonless, Starless Sky). This evening of cocktails and conversation is being generously hosted by Faiza Patel.

Tickets for this evening are $200. Following your RSVP, you will be sent the address for the evening. The donation is considered 100% tax-deductible and supports PEN America’s mission to defend writers and free expression at a time of unprecedented need. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
