This is a private event.

Join us for an intimate evening with Jacob Mchangama discussing Free Speech: A History from Socrates to Social Media.  In Free Speech, Mchangama traces the riveting legal, political, and cultural history of this idea through captivating stories of free speech’s many defenders—from the ancient Athenian orator Demosthenes and the ninth-century freethinker al-Rāzī, to the anti-lynching crusader Ida B. Wells and modern-day digital activists. This evening is hosted by Daniel Shuchman and Lori Lesser.

To RSVP, please email Christy Wensley at [email protected]. Following your RSVP, you will be sent the address for the dinner.
