PEN America Virtual Authors’ Evening with The Plot Against America’s David Simon and Morgan Spector

The Plot Against America - David Simon and Morgan Spector

Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2020
Time: 7pm EDT / 4pm PDT
Location: Zoom
Donation to Attend: $200 per ticket

Join us for a virtual intimate evening with David Simon, an author, journalist, and television writer and producer of hit shows like The Wire and HBO’s new mega-hit series, The Plot Against America. We will also be joined by The Plot Against America’s lead actor, Morgan Spector.

Based on the legendary Philip Roth novel, this six-part series focuses on a working-class Jewish family in New Jersey that witnesses the political rise of aviator-hero and xenophobic populist Charles Lindbergh, as he becomes president and turns the nation toward fascism.

A $200 donation is required to attend this very special evening. Your donation supports PEN America’s mission to defend writers and free expression at a time of unprecedented need. Please fill out the form below to make a contribution and reserve your ticket. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.

Space will be limited to 25 guests to facilitate audience participation and discussion. Following your RSVP, you will be sent the Zoom meeting invitation. This is a private video meeting, and only guests who are on the RSVP list will be permitted to join.

Please contact Coty Novak at cnovak@pen.org for any additional questions or concerns.
