Words & Music Festival: NOJO performs “Vengeance”

One Book One New Orleans and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra — NOJO present the world premiere of their first collaboration. NOJO Artistic Director Adonis Rose has composed an original jazz suite based on OBONO’s 2019 selection, Vengeance by Zachary Lazar, which will debut as part of Words & Music: A Literary Feast in New Orleans.

Before the music begins, OBONO will present the James-DeSalvo award, given each year to someone dedicated to literacy in our city, to Vera Warren Williams, owner of the Community Book Center.
