Granta: 2013 Best of Young British Novelists

In 1983, Granta magazine devoted an entire issue to twenty of the Best of Young British Novelists. In doing so, the magazine created a snapshot of a generation of writers about to come into their own. Every ten years since, they’ve selected a roster of new talent to showcase. This decade’s list will be announced by Granta editor John Freeman and Hari Kunzru (Best Young British Novelist 2003), followed by readings and a conversation with some of the newly revealed novelists.
